Our Financial Administration Program is part of Money Matters, a community partnership that provides financial literacy support and services to individuals living with mental health or addiction challenges. Recently, Money Matters surveyed all Financial Administration clients, referring agencies and professional supports, including those at CJHS. Of the clients surveyed, 91% of clients reported reduced financial stress, and 100% of clients are satisfied their financial situation is stabilized. All agencies surveyed are satisfied with the services offered to their clients. The client survey highlighted room for growth in supporting clients to maintain or reduce their debt load, as well as maintain stable housing.
Ultimately, strong community partnerships, like Money Matters, foster a sense of collective responsibility and create a safety net that addresses the multifaceted needs of individuals, families, and communities. By working together, these partnerships can break the cycles of poverty, mental health challenges, and criminal behavior, paving the way for a more inclusive, equitable, and safer society for all.
